You are not in darkness, so that that day should overtake you as it would thieves.—1 Thess. 5:4.

Earthshaking events will soon occur. The fulfillment of Bible prophecies confirms this fact, so we need to keep on the watch. What will help us to do that? The apostle Paul urges us to “keep our eyes . . . on the things unseen.” Yes, we need to bear in mind our reward of everlasting life, be it in heaven or on earth. As the context shows, Paul wrote these words to encourage fellow believers to focus on the happy outcome of their faithful course. Doing so would also help them to cope with trials and persecution. (2 Cor. 4:8, 9, 16-18; 5:7) Paul’s admonition contains an important principle: To keep our hope firm, we must look beyond the things that are immediately before us. We need to focus on significant events that are as yet unseen.—Heb. 11:1; 12:1, 2

Reinvention the key to a new beginning

Have you ever thought you had all the answers?  Felt reasonably sure what your next move was going to be?  Had everything planned, mapped out right?  Only to find out you are clueless with no answer at all.  Go to make your next move and discover for some reason you can't make the move or your plan has failed and your map has led you to a dead end.  Or someone or something you invested all you had in has failed you, abandoned you and left you all alone to pull everything (including you) back together?

Now some are you are saying to yourself what in the world is Zenobia's Daughter talking about now.  Stay with me.

Learning (from experiences)Invention (of one's self by way of new ideas)Focus (on what's necessary to move forward)Energize (to get pass where you were, where you are to arrive at where you should be)

Most of us look at starting over as some sign of failure and become pretty bummed out about it.  So bummed out that we the motivation needed to move pass where we are at the moment.  Trust me I can relate I've been there.  But in recent years I've learned the energy you put into worrying about all you've lost, how you have to start over spend in crying over spilled milk, you could have put into wiping the milk up and embracing the happiness you now feel with having a clean surface to start from.

I know at times this seems a lot harder than others.  Such as divorce, the loss of a loved one, a job or a painful break-up with someone you've invested a lot into a relationship with. Yes, I agree these are some very difficult times to get pass and move on.  However, stay with me on this.  It is those types of experiences that provide us with the most valuable lessons in life to learn.  It is these very experiences that we develop true strength, faith and courage to look ahead, to reinvent ourselves, to become self motivated and a testament to others.
I'm just saying it's definitely something to think about.
